UNO asks India to abolish anti-homosexual laws

The debate on the decriminalization of homosexuality goes on in India. This time the request comes from UNO's director of the Prevention Program against AIDS, Jeffrey O’Malley. As long as discrimination will exist, it will not be possible to have effective prevention among populations at risk.
Despite the intervention of the Health Minister, Anbumani Ramadoss in favour of the decriminalization, many authorities think that homosexuality is a disease and that legalizing it will pervert young people.
