Queen Sofia's statements on gay marriage in “The Queen Up Close” has eclipsed other not so friendly royal statements in the same book. Indeed, if she admits the existence of gays, she indicates not understanding their pride, namely during gay prides where they dare parade in a coaches.
The Madrid gay pride attracts more and more people on Gran Via each year… we are more likely not to see Sofia dancing with the other queens of the day.
