At the intersection of maritime routes, the last African city before the South Pole, Cape Town is a real enchantment. The South African tourism capital fulfils all desires, all life rhythms and is also a real gay capital. If Mandela freed the blacks, it is also said that he freed homosexuals. The gay pride that took place last February gathered more than 5000 participants among which many drag queens, men in leather or swimsuits.
Renown for its art of living and cuisine, Cape Town is nicknamed the seas tavern and its barbecues with friends, braai, are a real institution. All this is accompanied with local wines as the vineyards extend up to 200 km around Cape. The wine roads allow encounters with wine growers and their tasteful bottles. Nature is also exceptional and the landscape breathtaking. As for visits, the National park of Table Mountain and the penguin colony of Simons Town are a must.

On the beach side, Clifton is where to go for a perfect tan. All the sexy and gym guys meet on the third beach and compete in the latest speedo or designer’s swimsuit. To tan up from head to toe and show your bum, just head to the clothing optional beach of Sandy Bay
Be careful, AIDS affects 20% of the 15-49 years old. Don’t forget lubricants and condoms any time... The beaches are 18 km from the centre, crossing the villas and hotels on the outskirts of Cape Town between the Atlantic Ocean and the wooded slopes of Table Mountain... the scenic road is simply magnificent
After some hours of idleness on the hot sand of Camps Bays, a relooking stop at the hype stylists of Long Street and a pause at the Hot House Sauna with its sundeck offering a spectacular view, you will be ready for a night tour.

At Green Point, the gay village, you will find a great variety of gay or gay-friendly restaurants, coffee shops, clubs, bars... Café Manhattan is one of the oldest ones and an good place to have a drink and to eat. Skyscrapers Burger is definitely the best in town. For more action, go to Bronx or to the leather Bar Code which are always very busy. Divas and cabaret lovers will head to On Broadway, whose drag queen, dancing and comic shows are absolutely fabulous. The musical scene offers a program that will make the most experienced night birds happy. Some even call Cape Town the “mini Ibiza”!
The rainbow people is very friendly. Cape Town will make your dream of a very gay and original stay come true.
