The Inn offers a variety of special events throughout the year. The annual Women's Concert Series, now in its eighth year, presents free concerts to guests. Grace Newman is the owner and full-time Innkeeper. She bought the 100-acre property in 1983 and opened The Highlands Inn with one building, the Main Inn building. Since then she has added guest accommodations in two other buildings: the Farmhouse, which has 5 guest rooms, and the rustic Cottage.
Grace was born and educated in the Boston area. Her main interests outside the Inn include getting together with her family and friends and traveling with her partner.
