THE DECKS is a unique guest house centrally located on the slopes of Lion's Head in Sea Point and it can accommodate up to fifteen people comfortably.
Because of its elevated setting the house has an extraordinary 180-degree view of Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. Guests can choose from five modern bedrooms and two self-catering apartments on three different levels. |
The story is quite unusual. It is that of Erwan – a true Breton from Paris living in Miami in the United States – who, while travelling South Africa, met Charl on a Cape Town beach. This meeting gave birth to The Decks.
For three years, many visitors have appreciated this residence, ideally set out around a wooden pool in lush vegetation. With no buildings obstructing the panoramic vista of the ocean and Signal Hill, sunset views are breath-taking. The service is friendly and social and guests often bump into friends made on previous vacations. |
