KALANIKAI is a clothing optional retreat where you can relax naturally at poolside or hot tub, in your suite or apartment, amongst the landscape or on your lanai and anywhere in between. Kauai, The Garden Isle, is a verdant life force in the Pacific and thus gets its fair share of rainfall. As the sun reemerges, electric rainbows appear against the dark backdrop of rain clouds up on the mountain and wonder fills your senses.
The property is landscaped for privacy with banana, heliconia, coffee, ti, gingers, palms, etc. The privacy lends itself to the clothing optional environment that is offered to guests. Kalanikai has three options: Kahuna or Kainoe Suites, and the Kipu Suite.

Kalaheo is twelve miles from the Lihue airport. A car rental is recommanded while visiting Kauai. Seven miles from Poipu Beach and The National Tropical Botanical Garden, and central to the southside of Kauai. Waimea Canyon (The Grand Canyon of the Pacific ) is a short 20 minute drive and on the way to sunny Polihale State Beach. Kalaheo has four wonderful restaurants less than one mile from Kalanikai.
