HOTEL FREELAND offers you a real Dutch, open-minded and feel-good ambiance in a typical two star Amsterdam hotel in the centre of the city. The hotel has got 15 clean rooms, all with private toilet / shower / bathroom. It is near the most important historic and cultural sites of the city, such as: the Rijksmuseum, the house of Anne Frank, Van Gogh Museum and the Museum of Modern Arts and is situated in the middle of the old centre (de Jordaan) with its gaybars, restaurants and shops. Because the hotel is also in the gay area of the city Hotel Freeland is a pink (information) point for gay customers.

The managers of Hotel Freeland, Pascale and Rick, are former teachers. They're good friends but no partners as Rick is gay. So he knows all about gaylife in Amsterdam. Pascale knows Amsterdam by heart and she will show you the nice spots to be... They are both very friendly, helpful, open-minded and like to have a good laugh with the customers. They are also multi-lingual: German, English and French are spoken fluently.
