HOMESTAY OAMARU has an elevated central location in a quiet cul-de-sac. It boasts the best views of any guest accommodation in town. From the sunny, private site you can see sheep grazing on one side, and in the other direction look down on the town centre (only 4 blocks away), the coast and harbour. A major renovation of the property has just been completed. Panoramic views, home comfort and warm hospitality at reasonable prices.

The host, Doug, is a seasoned traveller, particularly in Europe and North America, where 95% of his guests come from. He knows the local area well, and can advise on sightseeing, outdoor activities, shopping and dining. Having driven frequently around New Zealand, he can also advise on your chosen scenic route.
Doug is currently finishing a new house, for selling, and enjoys home renovation projects. His main interests are theatre and music.
