BARCELONA CITY RAMBLAS is a "low cost" hostel: for people that look for a place to see the city and return to sleep. If you are looking for excelent facilities, you would have to go to the company's other hostel City Centre, a deluxe hostel. If what you are looking for is to take a walk, feel the city... and stay not a lot of time in your lodging, you are in the right site. The hostel Barcelona City Ramblas, called also Pensión Canaletas, is an old but clean hostel, in a fifth floor (without lift), the views over Catalunya square and Ramblas are wonderful. The rooms offer you a good bed, shared bathroom, towels and linens included, daily cleaning and, the most important, a superb situation in the city. Spend your money shopping, going to restaurants... and save money where you will stay lees time: your lodging.

At the top end of las Ramblas, at the corner of Plaça de Catalunya. Plaça Catalunya metro station (Line 1 & Line 3) is in front of the hostel. The stations of Urquinaona (Line 4) and Universitat (Line 2) leave you only one street away. All the night buses stop in Plaça Catalunya, in front of the hostel, like a lot of buses and the touristic bus.
