Equality treatment under way for gay couples

The Australian MPs have just voted in favour of a new legislation amending 68 laws and recognizing the equality of treatment for gay couples. This was a promise from the Labour Prime Minister who on the other hand does not support gay marriage. The Liberal party as weel as Labour oppose it. The bill is now moving to the Senate
