COPENHAGUE - Little Mermaid and great Vikings |
| Denmark |
 | |
 |
On the edge of the Baltic Sea, a door into Scandinavia, the Danish capital city is a lovely and surprising escapade. Copenhagen has been a pioneer in gay and lesbians rights for a long time: tolerance is king and favours a rich and dynamic life for gays. Adding to it an interesting architecture and an amazing quality of life: you get a seductive cocktail.
With human dimensions, Copenhagen is easily visited on foot or by bicycle. Here you see classical architecture and modern buildings with sublime design. For the postcard cliché, the port of Nyhaven gives you the typical side of Scandinavia. Of course, we’ll halt to admire the royal guards with their hat made of bear fur. And after the little mermaid, you will enjoy a Danish game that consists of crusing in Orsteds Park, looking for the several lost Vikings. There are many warm bars and cafés for gays: a beer, a herring sandwich and some pork butcherywill help you recover and you will get to know many friendly natives.
Nightlife is busy and helps to chill out: the bars and nightclubs are packed and you will find sex-clubs for all tastes. In saunas, vikings will show you how much they are welcoming and open-minded! You can also find gay lodging in Copenhagen in very comfortable guest-houses. Copenhagen is a town city to live in: the cold climate is easily forgotten with the warmth of the human relationships and the discovery of the Scandinavian world.
